reflections

i think i’m doing a good job of not comparing every single thing to europe and annoying everyone around me. i miss it terribly and my parents have taken notice. i’ve been downloading jan smit mp3s and i’m too stubborn to change my laptop time back to pacific time. additionally, i don’t have the heart to change my yahoo default weather back to orange, ca. i have never really been a nationalistic type of person, yet my netherlands flag is proudly hanging above my bed. now i’m shamelessly singing along to jan smit songs, translation not important. no matter how much i expressed my distaste for dutchies, the ones who i actually like mean so much to me. my legs are aching for me to get on a bicycle. my english is awful- i’ve been writing “knew” instead of “new” and the such. this week i get to see my dutch friend masha, who came to irvine for the remainder of the academic year. i hope i get to show her a decent time, obviously i’m perplexed at the idea of coming to irvine.
